REFORM GROUP GIVES AWARD FOR BEST STUDENT VIDEO SUPPORTING CAMPAIGN FINANCE AND LOBBY REFORM

STUDENTS4REFORM LAUNCHES 2002 TV CAMPAIGN ATTACKING BIG MONEY LOBBYING IN ALBANY

Students4Reform will announce the winner of its contest for the best student produced TV ad supporting campaign finance and lobby reform in Albany. After a screening of the nominees and the announcement of the winner, the group will preview its' own TV campaign for reforming Albany. An interactive website will allow donors to tell the students which ads they like and when and where they would like them to run.

WHEN: Thursday, March 28, 2002 at 11 a.m.
WHERE: 130 LOB Press Room/Legislative Office Bldg.
WHAT: The five 30 second ads will be screened. Students from Harvard, Wellesley & Dartmouth will present the nominees. An innovative media effort for campaign finance & lobby reform will be unveiled.
VISUALS: Power point tour of the new interactive website. TV ads will be shown - betacam and vhs tapes available upon request. The nominees and judges are:
